Palak Raita
Ingredient:
Palak a bunch
curd 1 cup [calorie concious people can use low fat ones!

jeera 1 tsp
green chillies 2
method:
blanch palak in water or you can cook it with very little water. let cool.
churn this with the rest of the ingredients in a blender.
add salt.
Seasoning [optional] ;Take 1 tsp of oil,heat add mustard seeds along with dry red chillies, let splutter add the curry leaves.
Add to the raita.
Variation: To this base you can add, chopped raw vegetables which are used generally in the raitas.[eg tomatoes,cucumbers, carrots [grated] etc.
This helps in making the table more attractive especially during parties!

it was appreciated by by my son too and healthy one.I keep looking for recipes without coconut in it as everyday chutney has to be eaten for brakfast and this tastes like our thambli right?
